Robert Murray M'cheyne Bible Reading Plan Pdf

The 19th Century Scottish government minister, Robert Murray M'Cheyne, (sometimes spelled McCheyne) who lived from 1813-1843, prepared a program for Bible reading to have readers through the New Testament and Psalms twice a year, and through the remainder of the Bible once each year. There are approximately 4 chapters per twenty-four hour period in this plan.

Don Carson slightly modified this reading plan and published it in two volumes, along with his comments regarding each solar day's scriptural passages. You can obtain them hither:

Originally MCheyne listed two columns labeled "Family" and two labeled "Hugger-mugger". He intended that the Scripture listings in the "Family" columns exist read in family devotions, and those in "Secret" columns be read privately, in personal devotions.
